I'm not particularly tech-savvy, so I'm not sure what else I can try? I've had a good search of the forums but couldn't see anyone else with quite the same issue. I've also tried completely uninstalling MinimServer and reinstalling it from scratch. I have tried rebooting my router, my NAS and my endpoints. I have tried turning off the firewall completely, but that made no difference. My router is a FritzBox 3490, with the latest firmware etc. On my Synology DS414 running DSM 7, MinimServer 2.1 doesnt install. The ohnet.subnet was previously left blank, but I have also tried it with 192.168.0.0 in case that made any difference, without success. If I open MinimWatch 2 on my Mac all the options are greyed out, apart from "Options", "Refresh" and "Exit". I did not change any network or router settings, I've only made the update to DSM 7 and no other changes. Gizmoot is a free UPnP AV Control Point and Renderer. I appear to be able to rescan successfully - the process runs without any error messages, and the music folder location is set correctly. Flipps (formerly iMediaShare) is a free DLNA compliant digital media controller, server and renderer. "Media server status for MinimServer: Running" I can successfully visit the Configuration page at (which is the IP address for my NAS), and the status is shown as: Unfortunately I can no longer see MinimServer on any of my media streaming devices. I'm running MinimServer v2.1.2-2102, installed via the Synology Package Center. The numericSort property has been removed. For more information, see the Online updates section of the User guide. Existing configurations will be migrated automatically. The updateReminder property has been renamed to. ![]() I followed the upgrade instructions for my particular NAS/version, as per the MinimServer site. MinimServer 0.8.3 runs on Core 2 Duo machines and on all Macs made in 2008 or later. ![]() I've been using Minimserver successfully on my Synology DS414 NAS for some time now, but have just upgraded from DSM 6.x to DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 3 (the latest version currently available). Hi Mike, PiCorePlayer is a good alternative and quite easy to setup, you need anyway to fight with a steep learning curve.
